2RZ / 3RZ – Underdrive Crank Pulley

This underdrive pulley for the Toyota 2RZ and 3RZ engines increase performance by under driving all the accessories by 15 to 20%. This pulley does not push the underdrive amount too far for two main reasons. First, it is important to keep charging systems, air conditioning, power steering, and water pumps rotating fast enough for everyday driving. Second, not much horsepower is gained from extreme under driving. By limiting the maximum underdrive amount to 20%, all factory specified outputs are maintained.

The OEM 2RZ and 3RZ crank pulley weighs 6 pounds. This billet aluminum underdrive pulley weighs only 2½ lbs. This significant drop in rotational mass results in increase horsepower and quicker throttle response.
